Back to Blogging

I am back to blogging. I stopped blogging for no particular reason. Okay, may be there was a reason and it was my laziness. I didn't want to exercise my mind, I found excuses like I am busy and I have other things to do and blah blah... .

It was a B E A uuuuutiful weekend. It was in 60s when I left work on Friday and it was in good 50s with patches of clouds on Saturday with rain kicking in later Saturday. Whole Sunday ended up being rainy and now its pouring. Its been a long time since I heard this beautiful rain music. Yeah, some one's rolling drums of water from the clouds. That reminds me its been such a long time since I got myself  wet in rain.

I did a bunch of things this weekend - other than my weekly chores of course - I signed up for Twitter, I updated my profile on facebook. We also took some pictures out - I am posting some some below.

We watched a movie also - 13 B. Interesting movie. I will quote a dialogue from the movie here - "If the ghosts can take over the world's most complex machine - the human body - then it must not be too difficult for them to take over a not so complex machine like a television." Quite true, huh !! Yeah, here we have a whole family of ghosts playing out parts in a television serial that is only seen in the particular TV and everything that happens in the serial - follows in the real life of family members. The movie loses its grip towards the climax but definitely a good watch. Something nice from ever promising Madhavan and Neetu Chandra.

I watched the final T20 match between Aussies and Proteas today and I am more than happy to see Proteas pounce the Aussies once again. Somehow, seeing Australia lose makes me very happy - no matter what the opposition is. Also, one thing I want to mention about is Dhoni's captaincy. He has some kind of magic yaar. 2nd Test, Dhoni has a soar back on the morning of first day as a result Sehwag is captaining India and we are in dire situation. If we manage to save this Test match, we will be lucky. Dhoni wins most of his tosses. Take for example even previous series. Against SL, we lost the Test series when Dhoni rested, but the moment he made a come back in one-days -we won it. Kumble was the captain in first Test against Aussies, we barely drew manage to save it. In the 2nd Test, Dhoni was the captain because Kumble was rested and we won it so convincingly. We again had to settle for a draw when Kumble played his last Test and we won the 4th and last when Dhoni was made a permanent captain. Fingers crossed, I hope India manage to save this Test match.
